Common Sense - Big Band

Common Sense was originally written for big band in 1997, but was revised at the end of 2002. The idea behind this composition is that the music evolves through a detailed arrangement, but still with room for improvisations. Since it offers a few musical challenges on the way, it needs some time spent on it.
Common Sense is maybe created for more accomplished big bands, but still it’s worth trying out for any kind of band, fun piece to work with.
This piece is also dedicated to one of my favorite bands Weather Report, and might have some musical resemblance and surprises on the way. (duration: c.6 min)
