200 Years of Change - Solo trumpet and piano
200 Years of Change is a instrumental majestic ballad for solo trumpet and piano. The piece has a clear classical reference, with a strong visual character.
It was originally commissioned by Lindås municipality and School of Arts in 2014, and in conjunction with the bicentenary for the Norwegian Constitution 1814–2014. It was originally composed for brass band, choir, band and trumpet solo.
200 years of evolving Norwegian democracy clearly signify pride and humbleness, let’s hope it will remain, or that the nation will build within the same framework for the future.

Nebula - Solo trumpet and piano
Nebula is a cloud of dust and gas in space, usually illuminated by one or more stars. Nebulae represent the raw material the stars are made of. Maybe in musical resemblance.

FROM MILAN TO MINSK by Johan M. Leiva
From Milan to Minsk is inspired by a scene from the classic comedy “Seinfeld”, still today I find this comedy funny to watch.
This piece is a joyful rhythmic piece for solo trumpet and piano. Most of it is not too hard to play but it has some technical challenges in some places.
If you need a new, fresh and fun piece to play then you have come to the right place. From Milan to Minsk might also be a good choice if you need a solo piece in a music competition.
